The UFC hasn’t disappointed since it came back from the COVID stoppage.
The headliner for this weekend UFC Fight Night will have Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov, in a good one. Yet, the rest of the card is also attractive.
Let’s jump right in to see the top fights of the main card to bet on UFC this weekend.
Josh Emmett vs. Shane Burgos
Emmett Vs. Burgos Odds To Win
Emmett Vs. Burgos Total Rounds
Every time Josh Emmett fights is KO or nothing. His last four fights ended with a TKO/KO result, winning three of four.
Emmett is a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with a wrestling background, but he loves to take chances. That’s why many of his fights end before the distance.
Shane Burgos has won 13 of the 14 fights on his UFC career, including the last three. His only career loss was against Calvin Kattar in 2018.
Burgos is the favorite at -140. He’s a more skilled striker than Emmett and will trap Josh in a striking exchange to win. Trust me, Emmett can’t help himself.
Raquel Pennington vs. Marion Reneau
Pennington Vs. Reneau Odds To Win
Pennington Vs. Reneau Total Rounds
Raquel Pennington is the favorite in the women’s bantamweight contest against Marion Reneau. MyBookie has Pennington’s winning the bout at -170. She’s 10-8 in her career, which is far from great, losing three of her last four.
However, when you see the lineup she faced, you realized why she had lost recently. Two of her three losses were against Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes. Those are two of the biggest names in women’s UFC history. Nunes might be arguably the best fighter ever.
Raquel Pennington has faced top names in the UFC throughout her entire career, not only in recent fights. She’s experienced, and if her opponent is not polished, Pennington knows how to take advantage.
Marion Reneau has a slightly better record with nine wins, five losses, and a draw, yet her last two performances ended in defeat. Both times she took the fights to the distance but lost to Yana Kunitskaya and Cat Zingano via unanimous decision.
This fight has Pennington by decision written all over it. At MyBookie, you can find it as a prop at +125.
Belal Muhammad vs. Lyman Good
Muhammad Vs. Good Odds To Win
Muhammad Vs. Good Total Rounds
Since 2016, Belal Muhammad has suffered just one loss, winning six fights during that span. His last outing against Takashi Sato was the first time in seven contests where a result ended before the distance.
Muhammad has won only four fights by KO, and the win against Sato was his first via submission. Eleven of his 16 wins came via decision. He’s the favorite to win on Saturday at -135.
Lyman Good is in the last part of his career whether he wants to admit it or not. He has alternated wins and losses in his last four fights, although he was on the right side in his last encounter against Chance Rencountre.
Good relies on landing flush to take care of opponents. Muhammad is a crafted fighter who will drain opponents and has no problem taking a victory in the last stages of the fight. Let’s wager on the better fighter here.
