It’s time to head to Detroit. After Dustin Johnson took down the field last weekend, it’s time for a new winner here. The Rocket Mortgage Classic will start on Thursday and run all through the Holiday weekend. Here is a look at our PGA Rocket Mortgage Classic Daily Fantasy Sports Lineup Tips:
Tony Finau – $9300
Tony was solid, but not great last weekend. He did not make the cut as it moved from -3 to -4 late in the second round. This guy is usually a pretty solid bet to make the cut with 10 out of 13 events. Finau also has finished inside the Top 10 – 4 times this season. He is priced as the ninth highest player according to Draftkings.
Jason Day – $8600
Feels like Jason Day is starting to round into form a little bit. His numbers are not great at all, with 5 cuts in 10 events. Day has finished in the Top 10 just once this season. But, his play has continually improved over the last couple weeks. This is a guy that has been there and done that on a big stage.
Rafa Cabrera Bello – $8100
This guy is listed at $8,100 and when he gets gong is a birdie machine. He finished 23rd last week, and that came after a very poor third round. Putting four rounds together, of course is a challenge, but when this guy does it, he is as dangerous as anyone.
Brandt Snedeker – $7,900
Snedeker is another birdie maker. This guy has hot streaks that are so hot, it can carry him to a tournament win. He showed promise last week at the Travelers, shooting a third round 66 to get himself into a decent spot. Look for “Sneds” to play a big role in who wins this event.
Alex Noren – $7,800
The Spainiard did not perform well the final day at the Charles Schwab, but has rebounded with four straight solid rounds at the RBC Heritage. Noren has made 8/10 cuts ths season, and is seeking his second Top 10.
Adam Hadwin – $8,200
A pretty good choice to make the cut. He has done that 9 out of 10 times, and actually reached the Top 10 twice this season. Hadwin did not play last week at the Travelers, following his 41st place finish at the RBC Heritage. Look for Hadwin to use that week off to prepare and be ready for a solid weekend in Detroit.
Best of luck, we are going with a mixed bag, and balanced approach for our lineup this week.
