While the WSOP.com online series has been relatively small compared to the upcoming GGPoker series, it has certainly had its share of stories.

We had the Twitch win, the newbie win, the car park win, the Matusow drama and the Negreanu tilt. Now we have seen a Main Event champion take down an online bracelet.

Joe McKeehen took down the $3,200 High Roller event, defeating a field of 368 (plus 128 re-entries) for $352,985 and his third career bracelet.

That’s a third piece of WSOP gold to go with his 2015 Main Event bracelet and his 2017 Limit Hold’em Championship bracelet. He joins Jonathan Duhamel (3) and Joe Cada (4) as the only post boom Main Event champions to win multiple bracelets after winning the big one. He is obviously the only Main Event champion so far to also boast an online bracelet.

The WSOP.com online bracelet series continues with a further 17 events, culminating in a $1,000 Championship Main Event on July 31. The upcoming GGPoker bracelet series gets underway this Sunday with 54 events in total.
