Following the confusion over the WSOP Main Event at GGPoker, Daniel Negreanu took to Twitter to clear up what we can expect.
It was speculated that the $5,000 Main Event would have 22 starting days, all of which players could enter, even if they bust the previous one. This caused something of a stink in the poker community, suggesting it devalued the Main Event and was unfair to casual players.
Kid Poker put an end to that particular speculation:
Some important news about the @GGPokerOfficial @wsop this summer!
-A scheduling change
-Some clarity on the main event

It does look like there will be a significant number of starting days, though the exact amount is yet to be established. What has been confirmed is that players will be able to enter no more than three times, so a maximum spend of $15,000 per player.
While some may still be disappointed that the Main Event is a re-entry at all, this does mean it will be good value. The $25 million guarantee already makes it the biggest online tournament in poker history and that is with less re-entries than the partypoker Online MILLIONS which currently holds the record for biggest online MTT.
Negreanu also took the opportunity yesterday to make more bracelet bets for the series:
Now accepting bracelet bets on either WSOP or @GGPokerOfficial
Max bet $100k per player.
It’s a yes/no bet
If one of us wins any number of bracelets and the other doesn’t, it’s a win.
If both win at least one, or neither do, it’s a push.
