Rocky Gap Casino Ready for Phase Two Reopening

Rocky Gap Casino Resort was one of the first to reopen in Maryland – taking advantage of the latest restrictions lifted by the state. Much of its casino floor, its restaurants and its hotel have been opened since June 19th with Hollywood Casino in Perryville also opening on that date. Those two were the first of Maryland’s six casinos to open their doors for business following Gov. Larry Hogan’s announcement that the state would allow casinos to open as part of Phase Two of Maryland’s Road to Recovery plan.  All of the casino’s amenities, including slots and tables games, will reopen, while the spa and many bars and restaurants will remain closed. Patrons will be required to wear masks and maintain social distancing.  Rocky Gap Casino Resort general manager Skylar Dice told WCBC News that the re-opening was a hugh success and business has been brisk since…
