Apple Books is now offering a ‘Stay at Home’ Collection featuring a wide variety of genres for any age group!
Balance is a personalized meditation app for beginners to experts. This app helps guide you in meditation personalized to your lifestyle goals. In light of the social and economic effects of COVID-19, Balance is offering a free one-year subscription to their app, normally $49.99. Connect the kids on a virtual playdate with Caribu. It’s kind of like a kid-friendly FaceTime. They offer on-screen activities such as drawing pictures, playing games or reading a book together. This app is normally $7.00, but they are offering it for free until further notice, no credit card needed.
Duolingo is an educational app that allows you to learn a new language, for free! Choose from over 30 languages and Duolingo will set you up with lessons through reading, writing, speaking, and hearing.
Down Dog is a personalized yoga/fitness app for all levels of experience. They offer a variety of apps including their original Down Dog App, Yoga for Beginners, HIIT, Barre, and 7 Minute Workout. In response to numerous lockdowns, ‘Stay Home’ orders and more due to the novel coronavirus, Down Dog is making all of their apps completely free until May 1st. Nike Training Club Premium
Nike has made all of its Nike Training Club Premium workouts free until further notice. The Nike Training Club App offers a library of more than 185 workouts ranging from 15 to 60 minutes. These span bodyweight-only sessions, yoga classes, targeted training programs (abs, arms, and glutes) and full-equipment workouts for all fitness levels.
Sanvello is a digital care app that offers mood tracking, self-assessment test, coping tools, and a peer support network. They offering free premium service until further notice.
Swift Playground allows you to learn how to code Swift through intuitive games and lessons.
Time for Kids
Time for Kids is a digital library full of worksheets, teaching tools, and quizzes for students, educators, and family members. They offering their services for free for the remainder of the 2020 school year.
Netflix Party allows you to have a movie night with your friends from the safety of each of your homes! This popular Google Chrome extension allows users to sync their Netflix account for free to watch movies and shows simultaneously with their friends while practicing social distancing.
NFL Game Pass
The NFL is extending free access to its Game Pass through May 31. Users will be allowed to replay games from 2009-2019 in commercial-free HD. It also includes bonus content such as behind-the-scenes interviews with players and coaches.
Sling TV has launched a “Stay in and SLING!” initiative to help users stay informed during this time of social distancing and staying home. They are offering access to a variety of news outlet so you can stay up-to-date with the most vital information, including ABC Network.
