The $80,000 Gold Fever Stakes is set as Race 9 on the July 10 card at Belmont Park.
The event for three-year-olds will cover a distance of six furlongs and include names like Newstome, Listentoyourheart, and Long Weekend among the field of seven.

Marie Trombetta’s Newstome is one of the leading runners among the field.
Trained by Michael Trombetta, the son of Goldencents has a career record of 4-0-1 from eight starts and earnings of $223,071.
The colt has raced three times in 2020 with one victory, which came last time out in the June 13 Woodstock Stakes at Woodbine.
Prior to that performance, he finished sixth in the March 14 Mayers Electric Company Animal Kingdom Stakes (Black Type) at Turfway Park, fifth in the Feb. 8 Jimmy Winkfield Stakes (Black Type) at Aqueduct, and third in the Dec. 7 Pennsylvania Nursery Stakes (Black Type) at Parx Racing.
Newstome will break from post 2 under jockey Manuel Franco.
Another impressive runner coming into the Gold Fever is Merrylegs Farm’s Listentoyourheart.
The son of Afleet Alex trained by Christophe Clement has a career record of 2-2-1 from six starts and earnings of $176,864.
His last race was a second-place effort in the June 14 Mike Lee Stakes (Black Type) at Belmont Park. Before that, he finished fourth in the Sept. 30 New York Breeders’ Futurity (Black Type) at Finger Lakes and scored the Sept. 9 Aspirant Stakes (Black Type) there as well.
The colt will break from post 4 under Junior Alvarado.
B.C.W.T.’s Long Weekend will be looking to add to his impressive record with the Gold Fever. The son of Majesticperfection is coming into the race undefeated in 2020 from three starts, and with a career record of 4-0-0 from five starts.
His earnings are sitting at $193,928.
Trained by Thomas Amoss, the colt scored the April 25 Bachelor Stakes last time out at Oaklawn Park, registering a 112 Speed FIgure.
Long Weekend also won the March 21 Gazebo Stakes (Black Type) at Oaklawn and a Feb. 19 allowance optional claiming race at Sam Houston.
He will break from post 6 under Jose Ortiz.
The rest of the field (post, jockey) is set to include: Premier Star (post 1, K. Carmouche); Hopeful Treasure (post 3, R. Silvera); Wondrwherecraigis (post 5, J. Lezcano); and Liam’s Pride (post 7, D. Davis).
