Will Ghislaine Maxwell’s Arrest Impact the Election?

Key Points:
  • The late Jeffrey Epstein’s co-conspirator and alleged madam, Ghislaine Maxwell, was arrested Thursday in New Hampshire for abuse of underage girls.
  • Ghislaine is a British socialite and the daughter of disgraced publishing tycoon Robert Maxwell who died under mysterious circumstances in 1991.
  • Like Epstein, Maxwell is believed to have dirt on a wide variety of influential figures around the world, including Bill Clinton and President Donald Trump. Depending on what happens next, her testimony could have massive consequences for November’s general election.

Nearly one year after Jeffrey Epstein supposedly hung himself in a Manhattan jail cell under absurdly suspicious circumstances, his longtime associate and alleged co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell, was arrested by the FBI on Thursday in New Hampshire.

Maxwell’s arrest stems from the British socialite’s role in procuring and grooming underage girls for Jeffrey Epstein and lying to investigators. The victims were as young as 14 years old when they were groomed and abused by Maxwell and Epstein, both of whom knew that certain victims were, in fact, under the age of 18,” reads the now-unsealed indictment.

Ghislaine is being charged with the following six counts:

  • conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts,
  • enticement of a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts,
  • conspiracy to transport minors with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity,
  • transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity,
  • and two counts of perjury.

What makes the story especially noteworthy is the crowd in which Ghislaine Maxwell traveled. The daughter of prominent British press baron Robert Maxwell is credited with being Epstein’s bridge into New York’s high society.

Her father was an enormous national figure in the UK; he was a decorated war hero (who fought at Normandy), Labour MP, and a successful businessman. He owned two football (soccer) clubs, Mirror Group Newspapers, and the New York Daily News.

Ghislaine first moved to New York to gain access to elite social circles on behalf of her father when he bought the Daily News – and his money afforded her the necessary status to pave the way.

Robert Maxwell

Robert Maxwell died in 1991 after falling to his death from his £15 million yacht, the Lady Ghislaine.

In what’s becoming a pattern for the powerful men in the socialite’s life, Ghislaine’s father’s death was mired in suspicion and controversy.

Robert had close ties to Israel and played a crucial role in smuggling aircraft parts into the then-fledgling state. He was also a key figure in persuading Czechoslovak communist leaders to arm Israel in the 1948 War for Independence.

However, at his time of death – as it was soon revealed – Maxwell was deeply in debt to numerous parties. The day before his untimely fall, Robert engaged in a heated phone call with his son over a scheduled meeting with the Bank of England to discuss Maxwell defaulting on £50,000,000 in loans.

It’s been speculated that Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency was responsible for his death. Some have alleged that Maxwell demanded the country extend a loan to him under threat of going public with harmful information.

After his death, the “Maxwell” name was disgraced when his enormous debts became public. He had illegally raided over £460 million from his companies’ pension funds in an effort to prop up his collapsing empire – making him something like the Bernie Madoff of his time/country.

Ghislaine Maxwell’s Fate

After her father’s passing, Ghislaine Maxwell – whose name was now sullied in the UK – made New York her home. It was then, in the ’90s, that she met Jeffrey Epstein, becoming a central figure amongst his inner circle for the next two decades.

She is said to have been instrumental in cultivating Epstein’s social contacts, frequently organizing various events and dinners for influential people at his estates. Maxwell has been described (in relation to Jeffrey Epstein) as “half ex-girlfriend, half employee, half best friend and fixer.”

Ever since her “best friend” and co-conspirator’s highly suspicious “suicide,” the public has questioned when – and if – his longest-serving associate and alleged procurer of underage girls. Ghislaine fell off the radar publicly, save for a single photo taken outside of a Los Angeles In-n-Out Burger, mere days after Jeffrey’s death.

Details of her whereabouts and whether authorities would ever detain her have been a mystery ever since. Now that she’s in FBI custody, one must wonder what happens next. Will she testify against the many influential power-players listed in Epstein’s black book and “Lolita Express” (the nickname given by the public to his private jet) flight manifests?

Question:
If Maxwell is planning to cooperate with authorities – assuming the FBI and US Attorney for the Southern District of New York are actually prosecuting this case (some of Epstein and Maxwell’s abusers say the FBI knew about the sex trafficking ring for decades and purposely mishandled their complaints in the past) — will she meet a suspicious and untimely demise similar to Jeffrey and her father?

Jeffrey Epstein’s Suspicious Death

The details surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged suicide in the Special Housing Unit of Manhattan Correctional Center are unbelievable. One cannot help but venture into the realms of conspiracy theories.

Might Epstein’s fate provide a glimpse into what’s in store for his madam?

Two weeks before his death, the multimillionaire financier was found unresponsive in his cell with injuries to his neck. His cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglione – a former police officer charged with a quadruple murder (a man straight out of central casting for “goon hired to kill a high-value target in jail”) — claims to have found him unconscious and attempted to save his life, alerting correctional officers.

On the morning of August 10, Epstein was once again found unconscious in his cell. Authorities say he had recently been moved out of “suicide watch,” where he was initially placed following the first incident. Paramedics brought to New York Downtown Hospital and declared dead a short time later.

If the official story is to be believed, Epstein’s hanging marks the first recorded suicide at the MCC in 13 years.

He was found in a kneeling position with a strip of bedsheet around his neck, tied to his bunk. Conveniently enough (for anyone who may have wanted Jeffrey Epstein dead), the two cameras aimed at his cell were malfunctioning and failed to document the event.

In another “coincidence” associated with Epstein’s passing, the guards on duty during this supposed “hanging” failed to execute their mandatory cell check – scheduled for every 30 minutes – because they had both fallen asleep at their desks.

The Bureau of Prisons then violated protocol by removing Jeffrey’s body from the cell. Despite claims that guards attempted life-saving CPR, he’s estimated to have been dead for over two hours at the time of discovery, meaning the cell should have been preserved as a crime scene.

Doubt

Michael Baden, a pathologist, sent by Epstein’s lawyers to observe their client’s autopsy, has expressed doubt that the 6 foot tall, 185-pound man could successfully hang himself from the lower bunk. This is especially so with sheets described by a former MCC inmate as “paper level, not strong enough” to support his weight.

While New York City’s Chief Medical Examiner ruled Epstein’s death a suicide, unofficial sources say that the broken bones found in the deceased’s neck are “more common in victims of homicide by strangulation.”

Jeffrey Epstein’s lawyers have challenged the medical examiner’s conclusion, arguing that the evidence points to murder more than suicide.

Will Maxwell Take Anyone Down with Her?

Based on the sketchy details of Epstein’s passing, it’s not unreasonable to believe Ghislaine Maxwell is in grave danger.

After his death, officials are said to have discovered many volumes of blackmail materials featuring powerful people. We’re talking about the elite members of society – politicians (including presidents), British royalty, banking moguls, and more – with the means and motive to shut anyone up for good, should they pose a threat.

If Epstein possessed such evidence, who’s to say Ghislaine doesn’t have some insurance files of her own? Either way, her testimony alone would be immensely damaging to anybody named.

According to Epstein and Maxwell’s victims/accusers, we might expect prominent figures like Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Prince Andrew, Alan Dershowitz, and numerous members of elite institutions like Harvard, Dalton, MIT, and the Council on Foreign Relations to be implicated.

So, if Ghislaine Maxwell survives to see her trial, might she bring anyone else down with her from the witness stand?

My inner conspiracy theorist can’t help but wonder what kind of deals she’s being offered for her cooperation. Which faction of the FBI is responsible for her arrest?

The James Comey loyalists who spied on the Trump administration for the Obama administration and tried to advance the bogus Steele dossier and related Russiagate nonsense?

If it’s them, is it possible that Ghislaine would indict the President – and maybe his impeachment attorney, Dershowitz – with her testimony in exchange for her life (or freedom)?

That means she plans to say what Democrats want to hear while leaving Bill Clinton – 26-time passenger of the “Lolita Express” — out of the story.

If Epstein’s far-fetched suicide was within reach, couldn’t that be as well?

On the other hand, what if Maxwell’s arrest is indicative of some mass swamp-draining perpetrated by the Trump White House, as the Qanon people have been expecting for years?

Maybe her eventual trial will claim casualties on both sides.

For the sake of political betting, keep a close eye on how Ghislaine Maxwell’s detention and indictments are covered.

  • If the cable news networks are mostly quiet, signaling the most powerful elements of society have something to hide, she’s as good as dead.
  • If they dig in and pretend to be real journalists, Donald Trump is going down.
Tip: As soon as Rachel Maddow leads her program with a monologue about Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial or testimony, bet the house on Joe Biden.
