Woman Thinks Her Dead Cat's 'Ghost' Visited Her Room, Shares Haunting Footage

A Reddit user named chlochan from Swindon, England shared a video in which she claims to have captured her dead cat Blackjack’s ghost and it has caused quite a stir on the internet, reported Bored Panda. The video shows the recording of a room where the owner of the video thinks she has captured her feline pet who died exactly a year back. She captioned the video writing, “Not sure if this can be explained but I caught what looks like my cat Blackjack, who passed away almost exactly a year ago, materializing on our sofa (far left) when I turned the lights on from my phone.”

Chloe, who was Blackjack’s human, said, “It was a normal day, had been out for a few hours, had just got in and went to check my two cats were in so I could open the front door back up to take the back seats for my partner’s stepdad’s minivan out to him without the cats running out the door and getting in the way. You can see I look at the sofa, but I didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. It was only when I checked back on the camera (like I do any time we go out) that I noticed something weird, and it seemed like my cat, Blackjack, that passed away exactly a year ago.”

The user also added that the sofa, where Blackjack materialized only had red, grey, and cream-colored pillows on it. The video has left many people perplexed and several people are sharing their views, either to explain that it may be an illusion or to say how they can also see the “ghost”. Take a look at the video below. Since the user shared the video, it has received over 300 comments and thousands of interactions. In fact, some other users also shared their own paranormal experiences.

One person wrote, “Last year my cat woke me up by carefully stepping on the pillow I was sleeping on. He did that a lot. Wanting to sleep on my head but not wanting to wake me up. The moment his first foot slowly drove into the pillow next to my ear I was wide awake and frozen. When his other foot started pushing down on the other side of my head I yelled out. I had had to put him down a week earlier. Best cat I’d ever had. I guess he wasn’t ready to leave,” wrote a Redditor. To this, the original poster replied, “I bet that was a bit of a shock but comforting too that they’re still with us after they pass.”

Another user added, “Whatever it is that looks like Blackjack is there the whole time, you can see it before you turn the light on. Due to the night vision of the camera it appears light grey then you see it as black when you turn the light on,” wrote an individual. “Wow! That is pretty amazing. Definitely a cat head shape with ears.”

Another Reddit user offered an explanation to the video saying, “If you zoom in on it, it looks like it could just be a bag of some sort. Yea it was there throughout the whole video as well, it didn’t materialize it just turned black when the camera went from night vision to color.” Another user noted that while watching the video late at night made him/her feel emotional, to which the OP replied saying, “Aww I’m sorry it upset you! But thank you that’s such a sweet comment! Have all the chocolate pudding you want!!

While Chloe definitely misses her furry feline, she and her partner have 2 other cats Logan and Rummy to keep her company and never lets them out of her sight. It might be possible that Blackjack got bored in cat heaven and decided to pay his human a visit from the other side. What do you guys think?
